Maiden Castle, Durham on Saturday 24/02/2001 4 Km (Under 15 Girls)

Maiden Castle in Durham hosted the Under 15 Girl's English National Cross-Country Championships. View From sponsored the event and 213 completed the race. The 3.6k course consisted of a mixture of fast playing fields, challenging hills and had some great views.

Rachael Nathan (Lincoln Wellington AC) put in a final surge to overcome the challenge of Katrina Wootton (Bedford & County AC) to take the title with third spot going to Lynsey Jepson (Leicester Coritanian AC).

In the team race Aldershot, Farnham & District AC were too strong for Bedford & County AC with Bristol AC third.
