The third Junior English National Cross-Country Championships took place at the Hazell, Watson & Vinney Sports Ground in Aylesbury, Bucks.
Walter Hesketh (Manchester AC) had 23 seconds to spare from J. C. Green (Reading AC) in the individual race. J Eastham of Bolton United Harriers grabbed third from Peter Pirie (South London Harriers).
The team title went the way of East Cheshire Harriers. Runners up were Royal Signals with Thames Valley Harriers third.
