The Junior Girl's National Cross-Country was hosted at Birches Head, Stoke-on-Trent. The course was described as hilly and was organised by City of Stoke AC.
Sandra Arthurton (Leeds City AC) won the individual event from Sarah Andrews (Bristol AC) with Pauline Clark (Sale Harriers) third.
In the team race Sale Harriers beat Thurrock Harriers by 29 points with City of Stoke-on-Trent AC picking up bronze medals.
