Roundhay Park, Leeds on Saturday 13/02/1988 (Girls)

The Girl's National Cross-Country Championships took place at Roundhay Park in Leeds. Provincial Insurance Limited sponsored the event. Leeds City AC assisted with organising the event.

Colette Whitley (Liverpool Harriers) took individual honours with an 11 second win over Angie Foster (Morpeth Harriers). Claire Allen (Leicester Coritanian AC) grabbed the bronze medal.

Bedford & County AC, with 57 points, claimed team title by more than 100 points over Darlington Harriers with Bolton United Harriers third.
