The Girl's National Cross-Country Championships took place on Stopsley Common, Luton. The course was 3,000 metres in length.
Lynsey Bradley (Morpeth Harriers) won by four seconds from Lizi Norton (Liverpool Harriers) with Karen Johns (Shildon Running & AC) third.
Liverpool Harriers had four in nine to romp to the team title. A long way behind were runners up Bedford & County AC and four points behind Bedford were Elswick Harriers.
