The 137th Senior Men's championships took place at an extremely muddy Parliament Hill Fields in London. Richard Slade (Chiltern Harriers) won by 31 seconds from James Kingston (Tonbridge AC). Third place went to Flurry Grierson (Highgate Harriers).

Richard Slade (Chiltern Harriers) crosses the line to take the Senior Men's Title
Team gold went to Bristol & West AC with 115 points compared to Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers 199. Highgate Harriers went home with bronze medals. Bristol & West AC also took home the Charles Otway cup for teams of nine runners.
