Hugo Milner (Derby AC) and James Kingston (Tonbridge AC) battled it out at the head of the field in the 138th Senior Men's championships. On the last lap Milner pulled away and went on to win by 14 seconds.Third place went to defending champion Richard Slade (Chiltern Harriers).

Team gold went to Tonbridge AC who packed their six counter in the first 38 places. Runners-up were Bristol & West AC with Salford Harriers third. Bristol & West AC won the Charles Otway Cup for the nine man team race.
