The second Junior National Cross-Country Championships took place over a 6-mile course at Bromford Bridge Racecourse in Birmingham. The course consisted of two small laps and two large laps.
The Northern champion G B Saunders (Bolton United Harriers) won the race with ease beating Cpl. Field of the Royal Signals by over 30 seconds. Walter Hesketh (Manchester AC) was third.
