Enfield, London on Saturday 09/02/1952 (Junior Ladies)

The sixteenth Junior Women's National Cross-Country Championship took place in Enfield Lock, Enfield over a course of 21/2 miles. 16-year-old schoolgirl from Trust School, Haydon Bridge, Northumberland Anne Oliver (Gosforth Harriers), who is the Northern Junior champion, won in 15 minutes 27.8 seconds, and won by 150 yards. There was a very close battle for the team honours with Orpington AC beating Harborne Harriers by a single point, Ilford AC were third.
