The Minor girls's National Cross-Country Championships took place at Smestow School, Castlecroft, Wolverhampton.

Ruth Taylor (birchfield Harriers) overcame a challenge from her clubmate A Howells to take the individual title with third place going to J Crook (Uxbridge AC).
