The Girl's National Cross-Country took place at Witton Park in Blackburn, Lancashire.

Debra Russell (Cambridge Harriers) held off a challenge from Paula Mathieson (Warrington AC) and Susan Walker (Sale Harriers) to take the individual title.

In the team race Warrington AC were victorious over Rossendale AC by the margin of 32 points with Stretford AC third.
