The Junior Girl's National Cross-Country Championships took place in Wivenhoe Park, Colchester, part of the University of Essex campus.
Elise Lyon (Wycombe Phoenix Harriers) successfully defended her title, Lyon won by three seconds from Alison Johnston (Dundee Hawkhill Harriers) with Sue Tierney (Borough of Hounslow AC) third.
Lyon picked up a double gold as her club won the team event from Andover AC. Blaydon Harriers took home bronze medals.
