The Girl's National Cross-Country Championships took place in Wivenhoe Park, Colchester, part of the University of Essex campus.
Rachel Hughes (Fleet & Crookham AC) won by nine seconds from Susan Jordan (Luton United Harriers) with V. Vaughan (Dundee Hawkhill Harriers) third.
In the team race Victoria Park Harriers beat Sale Harriers with Birchfield Harriers third.
