The Junior Girl's National Cross-Country Championships took place at Knebworth Park, Knebworth in Hertfordshire. The race was sponsored by Provincial Insurance Limited.
Northern champion Lisa Reilly (Morpeth Harriers) took the individual title by an impressive 18 seconds from Catherine Bennett (Bingley Harriers) with Sarah Wilson (City of Hull AC) third.
In the team event Crawley AC edged Bedford & County AC by just six points with Sale Harriers third.
