Witton Park, Blackburn in Lancashire hosted the Under 13 Girl's National Cross-Country Championships. The course was 3,000 metres in length.

Jodie Swallow (Brentwood AC) led from start to finish to take the individual title. Runner up was Jeanette Shortall (Lierpool Harriers) with third spot going to Nicola Coates (Cramlington Harriers).

In the battle for team honours Bolton United Harriers edged Liverpool Harriers by a mere three points with Bedford & County AC third.
