The Under 13 Girl's English Cross-Country Championships took place at Staunton Country Park near Havant. The location was the southernmost point the event had been run in the history of the race.
Zoe Jelbert (Newquay & Par AC) caught race leader Kim Searle (Hull Springhead Harriers) on the run-in to take victory. Charlotte Moore (Bournemouth AC) took third spot.
In the race for team honours Hercules-Wimbledon AC edged Sale Harrier by 10 points with Aldershot, Farnham & District AC third.
