Roundhay Park on Saturday 14/03/1998 3.6 Km (Under 15 Girls)

The Under 15 Girl's English Cross-Country Championships took place at Roundhay Park in Leeds. Race highlights were shown the following day on Sky Sports. The race was sponsored by the sportswear company View From.

At the front of the field two Louises Whittaker (Sale Harriers) and Damen (Bournemouth AC) led from the chasing pack. Whittaker was stronger on Hill 60 and went on to win by 50 metres. Damen was second with Kirsty Waterson (Ipswich Harriers) third.

Bristol Athletic Club took team honours with an eleven-point victory over Havering AC with Sale Harriers third
