The National Trust property Stowe Park was the setting for the Under 15 Girl's English National Cross-Country Championships. The race was sponsored by sports company View From for the third consecutive year. The course consisted of farmland and included some challenging hills.
Defending champion Courtney Birch (Liverpool Pembroke & Sefton Harriers) retained her title beating Katrina Wootton (Bedford & County AC) by 26 seconds. Third place went to Charlotte Wickham (Gateshead Harriers).
