The Under 17 Women's English National Cross-Country Championships took place at Parliament Hill Fields, Hampstead Heath, London. The event was sponsored for the fourth year on the run by Saucony.
Sian Edwards (Kettering Town Harriers) defended her under-17 title finishing 37 seconds clear of runner-up Steph Twell (Aldershot, Farnham & District AC) with Ellie Sprake (Ipswich Harriers) third.

Edwards told Athletics Weekly ""I did not know how it was going to go, I went into the pack because of the wind but the field went off quite fast."
In the battle for team honours Rotherham Harriers just edged Aldershot, Farnham & District AC by 9 points with Royal Sutton Coldfield AC third.
