Under 20 Gold medalist Nick Goolab (Belgrave Harriers)

Goolab told Athletics Weekly: "I've been doing the National since I was about 12 years old and used to finish in the 80s and 100s and I remember watching the junior men's race and wondering what it'd be like to win. The crowd support during the race was incredible. At the end of the first lap I still felt fresh, but I thought it would be best to stay patient. And when I hit the flatter, firmer parts of the course I pushed on."

City of Norwich AC took team honours beating Leeds City AC by 26 points with Winchester & District AC third.
