Parliament Hill Fields in Hampstead Heath London hosted the seventy-first Junior Men's English National Cross-Country Championships. The course was 10km in length and consisted of two large laps plus the start and finish straights. Once again Saucony sponsored the race.
Mahamed Mahamed (Southampton AC) excelled in the individual race to win by 57 seconds from Emile Cairess (Leeds City AC). Tom Mortimer (Stroud & District AC) came third.
Mahamed told Athletics Weekly: "When it comes to cross country Parliament Hill is my favourite course. I always do well here. I won as an under-17 here and managed to win again this year."
