The eighty-ninth Senior Women's English National Cross-Country Championships took place at Parliament Hill, London. Storms brought down many trees in the week before the race but the weather on the day was fine and sunny. The event was sponsored by Saucony.
Southern champion Jess Gibbon (Reading AC) won the individual race and was followed home by Northern champion Eleanor Bolton (Ribble Valley Harriers) with Bronwen Owen (Leeds City AC) third.
