The Senior Men's English National Cross-Country Championships took place at Parliament Hill, London. Storms brought down many trees in the week before the race but the weather on the day was fine and sunny. The event was sponsored by Saucony.
Mahamed Mahamed (Southampton AC) led for most of the race and went on to win by 15 seconds from Emile Cairess (Leeds City AC). Alex Yee fought through the field to take third place.

Southampton AC with 6 in 80 won the team title 56 points ahead of Leeds City AC with Cambridge & Coleridge AC third.
