The Under 13 Boy's English National Cross-Country Championships took place at Parliament Hill, London. Storms brought down many trees in the week before the race but the weather on the day was fine and sunny. The event was sponsored by Saucony.
Southern champion Jake Meyburgh (Windsor, Slough, Eton, & Hounslow AC) took the individual title with a 21-second margin of victory over Thomas Thake (Hallamshire Harriers). In third place was Midlands champion Fred Jones (Wolverhampton & Bilston AC).
