The twentieth Under 15 Boy's English National Cross-Country Championships took place at Bolesworth Castle, Chester. The event was sponsored by Saucony.
The first three in this race were only two seconds apart as they crossed the finish line. A last minute spurt by Owen Ulfig (Wolverhampton & Bilston AC) gave him the individual title. Runner-up was George Wilson (Cleethorpes & District AC) with Matthew Drummond-Clark (Preston Harriers) taking bronze.
