Herrington Country Park on Saturday 10/03/2007 (11:30) 5 Km (Junior Women)

The Junior Women's National Cross-Country Championships took place in Herrington Country Park, Sunderland. Saucony sponsored the event and the course length was 5km. The number of finishers was down on previous year's races likely because the venue was too far north.

Jessica Sparke (Woodford Green & Essex Ladies) returned from a spell of altitude training in South Africa to take victory in the individual race. Stevie Stockton (Vale Royal AC) took silver and Linzi Snow (Woodford Green & Essex Ladies) bronze.

Bristol & West AC took team gold edging Woodford Green & Essex Ladies by just three points with Vale Royal AC in third.
